The second film to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival with two Twilight Saga stars on-board (the first was Anonymous with Jamie Campbell Bower and Xavier Samuel) is 50/50 with Anna Kendrick (“Jessica Stanley” in the Saga) and Bryce Dallas Howard (“Victoria” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse).
50/50 hits theaters on September 30th, and the two appeared at TIFF’s special screening yesterday as well as a press conference for the picture.
During the chat, Anna Kendrick had this to say about her character:
“I liked how [my character's] confidence was always hanging on a thread … I liked how soft and vulnerable she was. We’ve all been in the position of trying to sound like we know what we’re doing but suspecting that everyone can see right through it. It was cathartic coming off the Oscars. I could relate.”
