Rachelle LeFevre Talks New Film ‘The Caller’
Posted by Maria • No Comments »

In a new interview with Shockya, Rachelle Lefevre talks about her latest film The Caller.

Shockya (SY): ‘The Caller’ tells the story of your character, Mary Kee, who is tormented by a series of phone calls from a stranger, Rose, who reveals she’s calling from the past. Why does Mary almost readily accept the fact that Rose really is calling from 25 years ago?

Rachelle Lefevre (RL): She doesn’t readily accept it, she doesn’t actually accept it at all, and that’s when the problems start. Mary is being harassed by the phone calls. In the beginning, it doesn’t really start out that way. She thinks it’s a wrong number. Then Rose says something that catches her attention, about Mary’s own problems. They sort of start to bond over life and their own difficulties. They have these conversations with a complete stranger, and start this bizarre relationship, based on Mary’s need to connect with someone after her abusive relationship (with her ex-husband Steven, played by Ed Quinn). It’s only when Rose says that she’s calling from the past that Mary really, really wants her to stop calling, and that’s when the harassment begins, because Mary doesn’t believe her.

Posted by Maria • No Comments »

Off The Map: The Complete Series is a three-disc set that features all episodes, in addition to never before seen outtakes and deleted scenes from a variety of fun-filled (and slightly crazy) moments from the set. Two featurettes will round out the “extras” and make you feel like you, too, were in Hawaii along with Gilford, Valerie Cruz, Rachelle Lefevre, Martin Henderson, Jason George, Mamie Gummer, and Caroline Dhavernas. “On Set At Off The Map” is an in-depth behind-the-scenes look from the cast and creators, offering unique interviews and exclusive tours of the set, while “Jungle Medicine” is a look at the impossibly real medical cases that so many of the show’s episodes were based on.

Rachelle Lafevre Puts Life On Hold in “The Caller” Trailer
Posted by Maria • No Comments »

Shocktilyoudrop has got the drop on the new trailer for psychological horror thriller “The Caller,” and it looks to be a doozie. The time-warping, “Donnie Darko”-esque plot concerns a young, divorced woman named Mary Kee (Rachelle Lefevre) who moves into a new apartment only to become the target of a series of harassing phone calls… from the past!

The “Caller” in question doesn’t like being ignored, and the mysterious woman begins to taunt her with sneaky tricks done in the past which effect the future and quite possibly skew into an alternate timeline.

Mary is aided by a college professor named John (Stephen Moyer), who claims to understand her trippy situation implicitly with the all-purpose “I’m a Trekkie!” defense.

Having “True Blood” star Moyer and former “The Twilight Saga” star Lefevre on board means a double dose of vampire sexiness, and to top it off with “Boogie Nights” badass Luis Guzmán as some sort of weird gardener and you’ve got a recipe for awesome.
